lyrics
Llegan al son de la guerra,
nubes que anuncian tormenta,
pájaros negros entrando
por las ventanas abiertas...
Pero hoy los echaré de aquí,
porque yo ya no puedo seguir
todos los días muriendo
cuando la muerte es eterna.
Pesa el mundo en mi espalda,
siempre cambiando de almohada;
lo que me impide dormir
hizo su nido en mi alma,
llenas de espinas las ramas
que yo mismo recogí.
Éste no es nuestro final,
tan sólo el momento de despertar
de un sueño que no fue nuestro jamás.
Me volveré a levantar...
Los que se caen de la barca,
los que se quieren bajar...
a todos se los traga el mar.
Los que de noche se escapan,
los que se quedan atrás...
ya les dejé marchar.

Black birds
They come to the sound of war,
clouds foreboding storm,
black birds enter
through open windows...
But I'll chase them out of here today,
'cause I can't keep on
dying every day
when death is eternal.
The weight of the world on my back,
always switching pillows;
what keeps me from sleeping
made its nest on my soul,
with sprigs full of thorns
that I gathered myself.
This is not our end,
only the time to wake up
from a dream that was never our own.
I will rise up again...
Those who fall from the boat,
those who want to get off...
the sea swallows them all.
Those who run away at night,
those who stay behind...
I've already let them go.
Not very often one happens to stumble with a genuine piece of art, a pure piece of heart, a poem bled from the depths of the human soul. In "Candela" that's precisely what you will find, musicians torn from inside-out by the claws of life and put back together by the burning flares of hope. ¡Magnifico! elhater
The record that introduced me to the great and sweet little discography of Totem Skin. And I didn't came here for the boobs! There is something harsh and depressing about their style of playing Blackened Crust, that I can't describe. A shame they disappeared but they left us something to appreciate! Mosees
Very lush expansive doom, lots of different arrangements and choral vocals, slow and sad and full of regret. Extremely high quality stuff. Sounds like a life’s work. Also quite heavy. Jono Schneider
